As if we needed another reminder that Dolly Parton is cool, she went ahead and started a program to give every child in America free books. There are no criteria to sign up. Every six weeks or so, your child will receive a book.

The first book your child will receive features a letter from Dolly herself. It brought me to tears. Dolly grew up poor and, despite having very few books in the house, developed a love for reading and promoting literacy.
