Last week the hubs and I took in a little March Madness in Denver. Despite my ambivalence toward most things athletic, I had a great time.
There was basketball…
a relaxing pedicure at the Four Seasons…
post-game cocktails…
leisurely meals that did not involve sippy cups or food-throwing…
and, best of all, a happy birthday boy.
We are so fortunate my parents live within an hour of us and are happy to keep the girl for a few nights so we can get away. That alone time is so important to our marriage, and we cherish it despite missing our girl.
